Forbes has partnered with market research firm Statista to identify the leading American startup employers for 2024. This initiative, in its fifth year, takes into account 3,000 privately-owned companies located in the United States, each with a workforce larger than 50. These firms must have been established between 2014 and 2021 and not be branches of bigger corporations.
Forbes and Statista evaluated these firms on three main factors: company reputation, employee gratification, and growth. Statista gauged company reputation by checking articles, blogs, and social media posts about the employers for phrases related to corporate culture and employee engagement. Text evaluation was conducted to categorize these phrases as either positive, negative, or neutral.
Employee satisfaction was evaluated by Studying online assessments, staff retention rates, and company policies about issues such as diversity and inclusion, parental leave, and workplace versatility. Growth was measured by scrutinizing the organizations’ website traffic, job postings, and personnel quantities over a two-year span.
Millions of data points were used in order to calculate the company scores, and the top 500 startups ended up on the final list. This ranking of America’s Best Startup Employers 2024 is set to be revealed on March 5. It is worth noting that companies do not pay for consideration and all inquiries regarding the list should be directed to listdesk at Forbes.com.
